The end of our residency at Dba256 Bar & Gallery is upon us, our decision wasn’t an easy one and it’s certainly not goodbye forever. Individually our plates are full with great projects and events on the horizon, collectively we will return to dba256 for some very special events in 2017. We are thankful to have served #Pomona, bi-weekly since July, 2008. We’ve met a lot of great people and shared some fantastic memories. We would love to see everyone in the house, OUR HOME, one more time this year on Saturday November 12th. Thanks to everyone who has helped Re:Fresh become the most culturally unique party in Pomona, possibly ever!

Beats of All-Nations Radio Episode 014: Live Session with Buyepongo

We’re excited to introduce a new, live element to Beats of All-Nations Radio! In the past we have featured DJ and Producer showcases, but as we have progressed we’ve had the urge to record some of the talented live acts that we build with in the same capacity. Thanks to resident Re:Fresh[er] and Beats of All-Nations crew member Gabe Real, we have taken that step and look forward to keep this good thing moving forward!

We’ve been working with the super latin-tropical front band Buyepongo for the last four years. They’ve rocked our parties, we’ve supported as djs at their shows. We’ve done a lot together, and this past summer we did the most! To say the least the love is mutual. The Buye crew has finished up their long awaited debut album, Todo Mundo and has been prepping their album release party at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on January 30th. In the meantime they agreed to help us test pilot our live sessions podcast.

The band loaded up the car with instruments then drove from Compton to Pomona where we documented a very loose and organic intimate night of warm music on a rather cold night filled with IPAs, trees to breathe, kombucha, ginger beer and fine cheeses from around the world. We also talked to guys a bit.

Enjoy the show.  We certainly did!
